Mr. Zarghami, Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on Tuesday night at the symposium of the 100th anniversary of Iran’s tourism, explaining the current state of the tourism industry: Tourism before Corona was not in a good condition in the country. The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, referring to the holding of various meetings with various agencies to improve the current situation of the tourism industry in recent days, said: The issuance of tourist visas, which was suspended for 20 months, will begin in early November this year. Problems in the field of tourism All sectors must work together to remove obstacles.

Zarghami said that in order to solve the existing problems, we should put aside the tyrannies and allow everyone to say their opinion. He said :we have some problem inside the governmental office and we must put aside the tyranny between the constituencies and talk to each other. Bipolarization does not solve the problem of these areas.

The approach to tourism should be problem-oriented

Zarghami stressed that the approach to the tourism industry should be problem-oriented: “Barriers to work and problems in the field of tourism must be identified in order to find solutions.”

“As we do not have watershed management in the country and when it rains, it floods the country. Our problem is liquidity that activities have stopped and the country is deteriorating; To solve it, money and capital must enter the field of labor and production. Many investors to be in Iran and operating, but they say:

“We are ready to invest 2,000 billion tomans, but the government must step aside.”

The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts pointed to a plan presented to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution three years ago and said: “The original plan was in the field of cyberspace, but it was also related to tourism;

He ordered that plan and I followed up.
He added: “This project was related to cyberspace and the Internet of Things; Because in the near future everything will be controlled remotely, ‌ but one thing is kept to itself that has nothing to do with cyberspace and that is tourism. In an age where cyberspace encompasses all aspects, it is necessary to invest before it is too late.

Zarghami said: “The area next to the carpet museum is to be dedicated to the supply of these handicraft products and traditional arts.” Because it is close to the museum. I ordered the open area to be turned into a permanent showroom or store.
